For the year 2020, the 1500 truck series from Ram received a new turbodieselengine that can make an impressive 260 units of horsepower and 480 pound feet of torque with a towing capacity of 12,560 pounds.
Overall, the 2020 year has equipped the lineup of Ram 1500 with four different engines, among which each can be ordered either as two- or four-wheel-drive. The 3.6-liter V-6 engine is set as the standard one that is armed with a mild hybrid system altogether making 305 of horsepower, but for those who need a more powerful workhorse can go for the 5.7-liter V-8 engine capable of making 395 hp with or without the hybrid system at work. For even more performance score, Ram offers in the 2020 lineup a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 that cranks a 480 lb-ft of torque after mating to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The year 2020 has also returned the black-trimmed Night Edition for the Big Horn and Laramie versions, while the Rebel trim that is more off-road-oriented now gets empowered with a standard Comfort package with a much awaited power tailgate release.
